Egg & Paneer Bhurji

Egg and Paneer Bhurji is a delicious, protein-packed dish that combines scrambled eggs and crumbled paneer with spices. It's a great option for a high-protein meal, perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.


Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs

  • 100g paneer (crumbled)

  • 1 tbsp ghee or oil

  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)

  • 1 small tomato (finely chopped)

  • 1 green chili (chopped) (optional)

  • ½ tsp cumin seeds

  • ½ tsp turmeric powder

  • ½ tsp red chili powder

  • ½ tsp garam masala

  • Salt to taste

  • Fresh coriander (chopped) for garnish


Instructions:

  1. Heat ghee/oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

  3. Add green chili and tomatoes, cooking until soft.

  4. Mix in turmeric, red chili powder, and salt. Cook for a minute.

  5. Add crumbled paneer and stir well.

  6. Crack eggs directly into the pan and scramble everything together.

  7. Cook until eggs are just set but still soft.

  8. Sprinkle garam masala and mix well.

  9. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot.


Serving Suggestions:

  • Eat with toast / roti

  • Pair with a fresh salad for a balanced meal.
